 Geoff Schumacher grew up in Southern Nevada and has been a reporter, columnist and editor in Las Vegas for 16 years. He worked as a reporter, city editor and columnist for the Las Vegas Sun for 10 years, and for the past six years has been an editor in the alternative press at CityLife and the Las Vegas Mercury. Schumacher also is the Stephens Media Group's director of community publications, overseeing the editorial direction of an array of newspapers. He has also worked as a freelance writer, published in the Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, In These Times and High Country News. |
